35 Years in Watchmaking
Built by a Watchmaker.
Not a Marketing Team.
Jay Khatri has spent 35 years studying movements, sourcing materials, and building timepieces — long before "D2C" or "automatic watch" became trending keywords. Every Franklord watch carries that experience: the materials he trusts, the movements he's tested, the finishing he demands.
The Terrain is his answer to a simple question: what if your first automatic watch didn't require a second thought about the price?

The Heartbeat
Japanese 21-Jewel
Automatic
No battery. No charging cable. No expiry date.
At the core of every Terrain beats a 21-jewel automatic movement — a self-winding mechanical engine built in Japan. It converts the natural motion of your wrist into energy. Walk, drive, gesture through a meeting — you're powering it.
40+ hours of power reserve. Put it on Monday morning and it picks up right where you left off.

The Shield
Sapphire Glass &
Surgical Steel
The crystal protecting your dial is sapphire — harder than steel, second only to diamond. Keys, doorframes, daily knocks. It stays flawless.
The case is 316L surgical-grade stainless steel — the same alloy used in medical instruments. Corrosion-resistant, hypoallergenic, built to hold its shape for years.
At ₹8,999, these materials don't make business sense for most brands. That's the difference 35 years of supplier relationships makes.

Night Shift
Swiss Luminous Coating
Premium Swiss-grade luminous compound on every hand and every hour marker. Charges in natural or artificial light. Glows with consistent clarity in total darkness.
Whether it's a dim restaurant, a night drive, or 3 AM — the Terrain reads clear.
Your Number
Individually
Serial Numbered
Flip it over. Through a transparent sapphire crystal window in the caseback, you can watch the 21-jewel movement work — the oscillating rotor, the mainspring, the gear train.
Each Terrain is individually serial numbered on the caseback — a quality control standard Jay Khatri has followed for over three decades. Your number, laser-etched, permanent.

The Grip
Genuine Leather ·
Contrast Stitch
Every Terrain ships on a hand-finished genuine leather strap with contrast stitching — built to break in, not break down.
The leather develops a patina over weeks of wear — darkening, softening, and shaping to your wrist. By the third month, it's moulded to you. 20mm lug width. Quick-release spring bars for easy swaps.
