The Brief
Was One Line.
The best meant sapphire — but not just in front. The Optimus carries anti-scratch sapphire on both sides: an AR-coated front, and an exhibition caseback that turns the watch over into a show — the self-winding Japanese 21-Jewel movement, working in plain sight. That is a specification found on five-figure Swiss watches, and missing on famous Japanese automatics at twice our price.
The best meant a case you could live in: 316L surgical steel, integrated seamlessly into its bracelet. A genuine 100m swim rating, not a splash excuse. Swiss Super-LumiNova that holds the dial through the night. A 42-hour reserve that keeps beating through your weekend.
